Meet Jeanie – Dinosaur Hunter.

At Elko Dental Specialists, every member of our team plays an important role in delivering a great patient experience and a healthy, beautiful smile. Jeanie has been part of the EDS Team for 12 years and as an Orthodontic Assistant, she takes a hands-on approach to making patients smile every day.

Born in Salt Lake City, the second of six children, Jeanie grew up (mostly) in Vernal, UT, the dinosaur hunting capital of the world. She worked in general dentistry for a while but absolutely loves the way orthodontic treatment changes peoples’ lives for the better. She gets equally excited the day patients get their braces on and the day they get them off and see their beautiful new smiles.

Jeanie says that being a part of the Elko Dental Specialists Team gives her the opportunity to work with awesome people who bring her joy and help to keep her young. When she’s not busy helping our doctors create amazing smiles, she loves to spend time on and in the water, boarding, jet-skiing, swimming and boating. She also loves to travel, having gone as far away as French Polynesia. She’s currently learning to make jewelry and also spends time gardening, doing yoga or enduring a good spin class. Oh…and she loves a good book! Fun fact? Jeanie has a dinosaur hunting license!
